Before you know it, the 20th of september hit, time for the next convention on the list:Ibaricon 2025: Halloween edition!A more spooky edition since we got closer to halloween and their last edition of this year.Ibaricon is a convention in Roosendaal hosted in the bibliotheek Roosendaal.A place for jpop, kpop & anime enjoyers to look around and have fun, parents with kids who want to experience something new & idols who were there to perform.There were multiple activities including: artist alley, dealerroom, stage where q&a's and performances would be held, workshops, photobooth, karaoke, good food & drinks and the random play dances.I went the evening before to set everything up for my performer booth where i could show and sell my cosplay/performance prints as well as art related to idols. My neighbour this time was Bonbunyan which was a lot of fun and her booth looked so cute!.When the official day of the con arrived, i was ready for the day. When you are in the artist alley, you are most of the times at the bottom floor but because this was more of a guest booth, i was on the first floor togheter with everyone from the cosplay/creator village, all really talented people as well, and the voice actors.It was not as busy as the artist alley but we still had a good time!
The 18th of January 2025 was finally upon us.I was going to be in the artist alley at Ibaricon in Roosendaal again.This time at their winter edition which was something new yet exciting.Ibaricon is a convention in Roosendaal hosted in the bibliotheek Roosendaal.A place for jpop, kpop & anime enjoyers to look around and have fun, parents with kids who want to experience something new & idols who were there to perform.There were multiple activities including: artist alley, dealerroom, stage where q&a's and performances would be held, workshops, photobooth, karaoke, good food & drinks and the random play dances.Setting up the booth didn't go without a laugh and messing around a bit with my booth neighbour Kitsubow but after a while, both our booth's were standing and chatting with customers & selling our art could start.It was busy and the sales were good, there were pleasant conversations with everyone who came by and lots of fun.
Saturday & Sunday, the 12th & 13th of October, I was vending at Comic con Holland Amsterdam.This was my second time being in the artist alley on this location & it was again really nice.I had a good place as i was placed on the side of the crossroads not that far from the main stage, which also gave me the opportunity to see all the amazing Q&A's, the cosplay contest, catwalk and karaoke.The date for this con was not the best but sales were pretty good!.I bought some new products to this con as well including honkai star rail prints, dungeon meshi keychains and stickers, Persona 5 mask stickers and more, which will all be available on the website soon.Every morning before the con opened and i was finished with setting up, i went to the just dance booth to dance to some new and older songs! The crew was incredibly fun yet again!.
This saturday (13th of July), I was vending at Ibaricon togheter with Kitsubow.It was the con's first ever edition, the convention was small but it gave a cozy feeling and the other artists we were with in the artist alley were really nice and we laughed a lot with everyone.Sales were fine for a first time convention.I didn't experience everything from the visitors side but what i did experience was the random play dance hosted by the lovely members of Sanrozu & the jpop showcase, which i also participated in myself.The random play dance was great, had a lot of fun and good laughs, the jpop showcase was also lots of fun, everyone was there to support and cheer eachother on with every performance.
